On behalf of the Manchester Central Mosque Executive Committee, we would like to invite you join us for a special Interfaith Community Iftar meal.
Across the nation the Big Iftar is an initiative that many mosques are using to invite their local neighbours, friends and wider community members.
In the aftermath of Manchester Arena attacks the Manchester communities came together in a most remarkable way and we here at the Manchester Central Mosque were all proud to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Mancunians.
This blessed month of Ramadan affords an excellent opportunity to get together and show our appreciation of each other and so we are hosting our Annual Community Iftar on Thursday 15th June 2017.
Arrival will be at 8pm and after sharing some thoughts and getting to know each other a little more we will break the fast together at 9:39pm. If you feel brave enough to partake in the fast then of course you are more than welcome, though of course there is no obligation to do so!
We will have some of our great city’s civic and faith leaders joining us for the evening and we would personally love to welcome you.
Please let us know of your intended arrival and any friends you want to bring along, via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yours in faith,
Manchester Central Mosque
